It seems like every week there is something new happening. I have not updated my blog because of all the different changes. However, looking back I wish I would have so you all could see the way the Lord is working. Healing Hands agreed to join us on Memorial weekend. It sounded great but as the week went the Lord layed on my heart that something was not right. Don't know what it was but I never did hear from them again. There is an organization called Helping Hands in Honduras who is very interested but wants mom to come along. I love mom but think it is better for her not to visit for many factors.
During this time, I contacted Holland Hospital and Healing the Children. They are the ones who brought Adan here the first time. I thought the right thing to do was to ask them for help again. Holland Hospital denied us and HTC responded with a very harsh letter. Good news is... there was one person at Dr. Jackson's office in Detroit (this is where Adan was seen by the best team of doctors in the state) that refused to assist Adan. She is now on medical leave and Dr. Jackson has agreed to supporting Adan again. Looks like we have the doctors and hospital, now just trying to get the organization. Someone from RidgePoint church met a lady while in Honduras who actually lives in Boston and has their own organization which has helped bring other children from Honduras to the states. We are currently working with them. (Esperanza, Hope for the Children, Inc.) So, we are just waiting. I am reading the Psalms this summer and last night I read 62. In the version from the Message it says, "God, the one and only- I'll wait as long as He says. Everything I need comes from Him, so why not?" How can you argue with that?
Thanks for praying for Adan!
